There is no better time than the summer months to tackle some much-needed home projects. In this blog post, we would like to provide a list of some simple home projects to consider this summer.
Decluttering / Purge
Our first recommendation is to consider the interior of your home. Is there an area you have been avoiding or that needs extra tending to? Is there a space that has become the dumping ground for old furniture or items you don’t need anymore? Take inventory and consider decluttering where needed to give your home the space it deserves.
Upgrading a Space
Is there a space you can give a little upgrade to? Consider updating porch or deck furniture, creating a back room as a movie room, or even adding wallpaper or shiplap to give character and a new, exciting touch to your space.
Power Wash
Does your home just need a good clean? Consider spending a weekend giving the exterior of your home a good powerwash. When doing this, take down birds/bees nests, repaint or replace exterior materials that may be broken or worn, also.
Refreshing Landscape
Landscape can really elevate the exterior of your home and its curb appeal when it’s clean, maintained, and thoughtful. Take a look at your landscape and consider minimizing, trimming, or refreshing to give your home a fresh, new look.
Adding Something New
This can be simple, but it can make such a difference. Consider a fountain, bird feeder, planter, or bonfire pit. When adding something new, it can transform the space and make it exciting to host gatherings again.
